Step 1
Greatest Hits

Write down your best 10 shots.  This can be a combination of any that motivate and lift your game.

Try think of a Tee Shot on each of a Par 3, Par 4 and Par 5.

A couple of Fairway shots

A Bunker shot

An up and down

A couple of Putts

Step 2
Loving Your Clubs

What’s in your Bag, and what to use when and where. You are allowed 14 clubs, not everyone carries 14, but why limit your choices?

Step 3
Course Management

Do you have a distance Measuring Device? – Watch or Laser (Range Finder)

Different courses have different challenges, Bunkers, Trees, Water, Rough, Dog Legs.

Knowing how to keep the ball in play around a course can keep those scores down.

Follow these simple steps to stay out of trouble.

Step 4 Concentration and Focus

18 holes can take anywhere from 3 to 4 ½ hours.  It can be a long time on the golf course, especially if your game is not going to plan. You need to be able to switch on and switch off.  Knowing when to do is part of the process.

Step 5
Have Fun and Enjoy

The more relaxed you are the easier the game is.

Don't take it too seriously, we are not Pro's, we don't practice 8 hours a day, or spend hours in the Gym.

You get out what you put in.  You cant be expecting to be a scratch golfer based on age, injuries, ability.  The Handicap system is there so we can all enjoy the game.

Be the best you can be but be realistic.  Golf in not the place to look for perfection.
